Description

It's not easy to get out of bed around 2:00 a.m., but on the 4th day after the full moon it was the perfect time to image Janssen at sunset on our satellite. The rugged terrain then takes on a disturbing aspect under a cold light.

This area is a field of craters located on the southeast limb of the moon.

Janssen, the main relief, is a vast closed plain with a very eroded enclosure (190 km in diameter). It houses a system of crevasses, the largest of which is 110 km and 6 km wide.

Technically, I selected the best images from 3 videos of 2 minutes each.
